The NTD Korean Industrial Park project has a total investment of 141 million USD, located in Dong Ha commune, Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province.
Standing Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee – Luong Van Hai recently had a working session with NTD Group about the NTD Korean Industrial Park project.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Bui Canh Trung Son, Chairman of NTD Group – the project investor – said that the NTD Korean Industrial Park is a project for Korean enterprises to focus and invest in Vietnam. This project supplies and uses solar energy.
NTD Korean has a total area of 450 hectares, located in Dong Ha commune, Duc Linh district, Binh Thuan province. The total investment is about more than 141 million USD.
After completion and operation, the project will create jobs for more than 50,000 workers.
This project includes four small projects: Dong Ha industrial cluster (70 ha); NTD Korean industrial park (300 ha); Dong Ha Eco Lake City residential area (50 ha) and NTD solar energy project (30 ha).
During the meeting, Mr. Luong Van Hai highly appreciated the investment intention of NTD Group. In the immediate future, the province agrees with the policy of implementing the 70-ha Dong Ha industrial cluster.
By February 2018, after being put into operation, if the project attracts many investors and has a occupancy rate of over 50%, the province will create conditions for the Group to establish a new Industrial Cluster or propose the Government to consider establishing the NTD Korean Industrial Park.
Regarding the NTD solar energy project (capacity of 40 MW), Mr. Hai said that the province will create favorable conditions for investors to come to Binh Thuan, especially when this is a new solar energy model – NTD Solar City.
The NTD Solar City model is implemented by NTD Solar JSC – a unit specializing in providing environmentally friendly energy in Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and many other countries.
This project will provide environmentally friendly energy to 5,000 households in Dong Ha Eco Lake City and 250 factories in Dong Ha Industrial Park.
“Through the use of the energy efficiency management system (NTD Nems) and the energy saving system (NTD ESS), the project aims to reduce the electricity costs of households and factories,” said a representative of NTD Group.
