Currently, Gia Nghia – Chon Thanh Expressway has completed the procedures for submission to the National Assembly for approval, and is expected to start construction at the end of 2024. For the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway project, Binh Phuoc will carry out 7 km to connect to the Gia Nghia – Chon Thanh expressway. Binh Phuoc is also speeding up the completion of investment procedures, and is expected to start construction in 2024 with Binh Duong.
Binh Duong: Simultaneously starting construction on many key roads/span>
In Binh Duong, the road Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot Expressway – Chon Thanh has been approved by the Provincial People’s Council for investment policy with a total capital of over 17,408 billion VND under the public-private partnership (PPP) method (type BOT contract). It is expected that from May 2024, the bidding will be held to select investors (BOT) and construction is expected to start on the occasion of National Day, September 2.
In addition to the Ho Chi Minh City – Thu Dau Mot – Chon Thanh expressway, Binh Duong is also implementing many key regional traffic connection projects such as Ring Road 3, 4 – Ho Chi Minh City, the North Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Bau Bang dynamic roads; the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 13, DT.746 road, My Phuoc Tan Van road and build Bach Dang 2 bridge across Dong Nai river connecting with Bien Hoa city (Dong Nai). It is expected that in the third quarter of 2024, Binh Duong will hand over about 70% of the Ring Road 4 – Ho Chi Minh City site and start construction in July.
